We devoured this rice! My guys tore this stuff up. Not a bit left. I did sprinkle in some chicken boullion granules to the rice when I cooked it. I used 2 eggs, scrambled them and chopped them up. Instead of garlic powder, I added a tsp of minced garlic to the onion and sauteed it a moment then added the rest. This turned out wonderful. Add a little diced ham and a handful of green peas to this and you can make an meal out if it by itself.

My boyfriend said this was the best rice he had ever tasted! The flavor was mild but savory and sort of sweet from the sauteed onions. I cut the onion pieces quite small and sauteed them for about 8 minutes before adding the other ingredients. I thought it smelled great, too. My only variation from the recipe is that I did not add the parsley because I didn't have any, and I think I used a bit more teriyaki sauce than called for. The rice did lose a lot of flavor when we reheated the leftovers later that week, so I would recommend having extra teriyaki sauce or soy sauce to add when you reheat it if you have leftovers.

I added a teaspoon of sesame oil to the wok before adding the other ingredients. This tasted alright. I think it is intended for more of a convenient way to serve kicked-up leftover rice, in which case it was pretty good.

Great recipe. Very tasty and easy to make. I didn't have teriyaki sauce so I used Soy sauce instead and turned out pretty good. I'll have to make it with teriyaki next time to see which one I like better :)

This was ok, I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out with a mushy texture instead of fried like a restaurant makes
